I just realised it's more than a month since I updated this blog! My excuse had always been that I was just too busy. But can that really be valid? I guess I just didn't feel like it.

Just finished the series of midsemester exams yesterday. Never felt like I had to study so much for a midsem before. Take yesterday's Anaesthetics and Surgery for e.g., I practically studied my entire week of holidays away, and didn't do anything else! I had wanted to revise my other neglected subjects during that one week but in the end, didn't do much.

Feels like I have neglected a whole lot of other things in my life... composing, emails to my friends/sisters, baking etc...

So, for yesterday night I cooked dessert to share with my housemates, and made an Apple Crumble Cake. In my opinion it was rather successful, probably because it was a simple recipe to begin with. But it was not only till after dinner when I started surfing around on food blogs, that I realised Apple Crumble is not the same as Apple Crumble Cake. The creator of the recipe I used decided to add a cake component to her Apple Crumble. I want to make a real one someday! Anyway, so here it is (or rather, a part of it):

Haha... looking at too many food blogs have made me wish that I could photograph my finished 'masterpiece' too... :P
