Your farm attachment sounds real fun. Somehow, I was reminded of one Sun Yanzi's MTV where she was dancing with some old folks in Australia. No, don't think it's as fun as that. So, there's little water around, but Internet connectivity at the farm? I would like to live on a farm someday too. I don't mind the insects (as long as they don't bite like mosquitoes) or the dirt actually.
Have fun.

The farmers have never used a computer in their whole life! The farmer told me that he has no intentin to learn how to use one. But they have been able to run a successful business despite this. There is no mobile phone reception there as well. A perfect getaway from technology really.
As for the flies, one has to experience it for oneself.. because the fly infestations in Australia is unlike nowhere else - unstoppable. Try having flies flying into your ears and up your nostrils and along your eyelids! They really make your blood boil on a hot humid day :)
